The Nationals have agreed to a seven-year, $175 million contract extension with the right-hander, according to multiple reports. The Washington Post’s Chelsea Janes was the first to report the extension while MLB Network’s Jon Heyman was first with the terms, which include an opt-out clause and deferred money. Strasburg, 27, has spent his entire seven-year MLB career with the Nationals, but could have become a free agent after this season....

This rumor comes from a series of tweets posted by Ahsan Rasheed who allegedly has insider information regarding Sony’s future plans for the PS4. According to him, Sony is working on providing native 1080p support for certain PS1 and PS2 games on their next-gen console. If this proves true, the range of classic titles available to PS4 owners could very easily grow exponentially and fulfill many gamers’ dreams. While this should be taken with a grain of salt and treated only as the rumor it is, it also doesn’t sound too far off from the reality at Sony right now....

This was the second close game between these two teams in the last 12 days. On March 24th, 2019, it was a buzzer beater from midcourt by Jeremy Lamb giving the Hornets a 115-114 victory in Toronto. This time it was Jeremy Lamb again hitting a late three-pointer from 27 feet out to keep the Hornets playoff hopes alive....

The league’s Board of Governors has unanimously approved changes to the league’s playoff system that end guaranteed seeds for division champs. The league announced the decision Tuesday.
