He is known for dancing on the defenders and blowing past them to collect easy buckets. He is a two-time All-Star and is the first player in the history of NBA to score 10000 points with the Charlotte Hornets. #3 47 at Chicago Bulls, November 17, 2017

Stat line: 47 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists on 63.0 % shooting

The Charlotte Hornets did not have the kind of start they would have wanted to the season and were 5-8 when they visited Chicago for a game against the Bulls. The Bulls were in a similar situation too and were 2-10 to start the season.

In the first quarter, at the 9:16 mark, Kemba made a step-back jumper to extend the Hornets’ lead to five points. With less than one minute left in the first quarter, Walker made a three-pointer in the corner to give the Hornets, a three-point lead.

However, the Bulls would fight back and Walker had to bring out his best. In the forth quarter, with 57.6 seconds remaining, the two-time All-Star made a tough three-pointer to cut the Bulls’ lead to one-point.

The Hornets got one final chance and they in-bounded the ball to Walker but his layup attempt was no good and the Bulls won it, 123-120. Kemba Walker finished the game with 47 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

#2 52 vs Charlotte Hornets, January 18, 2016

Stat line: 52 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals on 48.5 % shooting

Kemba Walker had a forgettable game against the Milwaukee Bucks at home. He only scored 12 points on 4-for-14 shooting and was -11 on the night. However, he turned the tables two nights later against the visiting Utah Jazz.

Walker started the game with a jumper from the free-throw line. With 6:55 left in the first quarter, he shot a three-pointer to extend the Hornets’ lead to five points. With the clock winding down, he made a step-back jumper and the Hornets finished the first quarter with 29-28 lead. The Hornets would eventually win in overtime, 124-119.

The two-time All-Star finished the night shooting 16-for-33 from the field, including 6-for-11 from long range. Kemba was unstoppable and went 14-for-15 from the free-throw line. This was Kemba’s first 50-point game in the NBA.

#1 60 vs Philadelphia 76ers, November 17, 2018

Stat line: 60 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals on 42.9 % shooting

After getting blown out by the Cleveland Cavaliers by 24 points, the Hornets were back at the Spectrum Center to host the Philadelphia 76ers. Kemba Walker dropped a career-high 60 points but the Hornets could not get the win.

Kemba nailed a jumper from the elbow region to get the things started. With the 76ers jumping to an early 15-6 lead, Walker made a tough acrobatic layup for an and-1. He made the free-throw and cut the deficit to six points.

In the second quarter, with the 76ers up by as many as 14 points at the 4:26 mark, Kemba knocked down a three-pointer to keep the Hornets in the game. In the third quarter, with 7:18 remaining, Kemba came off the screen to knock a three-pointer that gave the Hornets a two-point lead.

With 44.5 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, the 28-year old shot a three-pointer in Jimmy Butler’s face to give the Hornets the edge. However, the Hornets eventually lost in overtime due to Butler’s game-winning three-pointer, but Walker received a high amount of praise for his heroics.
