This is the first time that “NBA 2K” has featured localized public address announcers in its game. In “NBA 2K17,” the franchise introduced dynamic commentary — which featured 11 national broadcasters, including TNT’s Chris Webber, NBA TV’s Steve Smith and Brent Barry — while “NBA 2K21” introduced an announcer team of TNT’s Brian Anderson (play-by-play), Grant Hill (color commentator) and Allie LaForce (sideline reporter).

Chicago Sky forward Candace Parker, who is one of the cover athletes for “NBA 2K22,” also will reportedly be a commentator in the game, along with the regular crew of TNT’s Kevin Harlan and NBA TV’s Greg Anthony, among others.
