Before going into the NBA 2K21 point guard build, though, it is worth noting that fans should certainly feel free to make adjustments to it as they see fit. That said, they may at least want to try to maintain the badge spread featured here, as the split across shooting, playmaking, and defense is quite deliberate. While it can be tempting to try to min/max builds more heavily in NBA 2K21, fans may find increased success using this alternative approach for their point guards.

As alluded to previously, this point guard build looks to be fairly well-rounded, and it will give NBA 2K21 fans slots for one finishing badge, 24 shooting badges, 22 playmaking badges, and eight defense / rebounding badges. This means that the player will not be completely inept on defense, and that is sure to pay dividends in the Neighborhood and beyond. That is especially true in these early days of this new sports simulator when players are still working on obtaining their badges.
After players have spent some time working on their point guards, they may want switch gears and try out some of the best center builds in NBA 2K21. Certainly, these are not at all like the point guard build that is detailed here, putting a very heavy emphasis on defense, and they may serve as a nice temporary distraction for fans that need a bit of a break from shooting.
