To no surprise, Meyer was able to haul in the second-best stable of commits in the country, featuring five five-star players and 14 four-star players.
Ohio State still has a bevy of talent remaining on its roster, such as quarterback J.T. Barrett, running back Mike Weber, defensive end Cam Hubbard and a handful of offensive linemen.

Meyer and company did a good job replenishing the defensive backfield after the team lost safety Malik Hooker and cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley to early NFL draft entries. The Buckeyes signed two five-star cornerbacks — Jeffrey Okudah and Shaun Wade — and three four-stars in Marcus Williamson, Kendall Sheffield and Amier Riep. Meyer also signed a group of wide receivers in Trevon Grimes, Jaylen Harris and Brendon White to help fill in for the departing Noah Brown and Curtis Samuel.
With another strong recruiting class, it’s unlikely Ohio State is going to post another zero in a postseason game anytime soon.
